Warranty Information & Return Authorization
At Slam Specialties, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Our warranties protect against manufacturing defects, and our team is here to assist with product concerns, troubleshooting, and warranty evaluations.
All warranty claims, service inquiries, and return requests must be initiated by contacting info@slamspecialties.com.
Please review the information below before submitting a warranty request.
Air Spring Warranty — 1 Year
Slam Specialties air springs carry a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse, excessive operating conditions, physical damage, or other causes unrelated to manufacturing defects.
How to Submit an Air Spring Warranty Claim
To begin the warranty evaluation process, please email us with the following:
-
Video showing the suspected leak: A clear video demonstrating where the air spring is leaking. Spraying soapy water onto the suspected area is an effective way to identify leaks, as escaping air will produce visible bubbles.
-
Photo of the manufacturing date code: A clear photograph of the circular, clock-style date stamp located on the bottom of the air spring. The complete stamp must be visible and legible.
-
Product and purchase information: Include the air spring model, a brief description of the issue, and proof of purchase if available.
Both the leak video and date stamp photograph are required to initiate an air spring warranty evaluation.
Once we receive the requested information, our team will review the claim and provide instructions for any necessary next steps.
Please do not ship an air spring to Slam Specialties unless you have received prior authorization and an RGA number.
Electronic Components — Limited Lifetime Warranty
Slam Specialties electronic products, including applicable controllers and valve assemblies, are backed by a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty applies to manufacturing-related failures and does not cover damage or malfunctions caused by external factors, including:
-
Dirt, debris, or contamination entering pneumatic components
-
Improper installation or incorrect wiring
-
Physical damage, misuse, or modification
-
Damage caused by improper servicing or disassembly
-
Normal wear or deterioration unrelated to manufacturing defects
Electronic Product Service & Repair
Many Slam Specialties electronic components and valve assemblies are serviceable. However, repair options depend on the product, its age, and the availability of compatible replacement components.
Certain older product versions may no longer be serviceable due to component design changes or discontinued parts.
A limited lifetime warranty does not guarantee that every product can be repaired indefinitely or that damage unrelated to a manufacturing defect will be covered.
If you experience an issue with a controller, valve assembly, or other electronic product, please contact our team before attempting any repairs.
Important: Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt internal repairs without first contacting Slam Specialties for guidance. Damage caused by improper or unauthorized disassembly, modifications, or repair attempts is not covered under warranty.
Our team will help determine whether troubleshooting, service, or a warranty evaluation is appropriate.
Return Goods Authorization (RGA) Policy
All products being returned for warranty evaluation, inspection, or service require prior authorization and an assigned RGA number.
To request authorization:
-
Email info@slamspecialties.com with your name, product information, and a description of the issue.
-
Include any requested photos, videos, or supporting documentation.
-
Allow our team to review the information and determine the appropriate next steps.
-
If a return is necessary, we will provide an RGA number and return instructions.
Do not send any product to Slam Specialties without an RGA number.
Products received without prior authorization and a valid RGA number will not be accepted for processing and may be refused or returned to the sender.
Issuance of an RGA number does not constitute approval of warranty coverage. Final warranty eligibility is determined following evaluation of the product.
